Kentucky educators made a strong showing at the recent MBA Research Conclave in Columbus, Ohio. Teachers from across the nation had the opportunity to learn from and connect with their peers in highly sought-after workshops. Keynote speakers from business and industry, including Raising Cane's, Highlights for Children, the National Retail Federation, White Castle and American Express, shared their insights and expertise with attendees. To help Kentucky educators implement the valuable knowledge gained at the Conclave, resources from workshops and previous conferences will be made available in the MBA Research State's Connection under the Curriculum/Instruction section. The Eastern HSB program was recognized for its exceptional performance, with 50 plus students achieving top scores on the HSB exams. Machin was honored for her valuable contributions to the HSB Teacher Advisory Committee. Machin and Wells were acknowledged for their dedication and service as HSB National Trainers. Additionally, Wells received the prestigious 5-Year HSB Teacher award for their long-standing commitment to the program. While attending the Conclave, Amshoff successfully completed HSB training, further enhancing her ability to provide high-quality business education to students.
